Exorcising Amos

 

I’m clearing out my cupboards

reducing so much clutter

findings things I could have used

indignantly I mutter

I’ll put  that back it’s really good

this time I won’t forget

stacked neatly with the other stuff

which I haven’t quite used yet

Oh I wish I hadn’t done that
sadly I regret
if I could just go back in time
when I hadn’t done that yet

Armed with hindsight wisdom
a misspent life rebuilt
how carefree would a sad cat be
without that burden guilt
