So always first to criticise
pragmatic unromantic
to nitpick every minor point
a doctrinaire pedantic
Plodding out and spouting forth
as might a pointless crashing bore
condemning truth unfathomable
pray silence say no more
Raining down resentful spears
verbal ranting septic spore
your arrows dulled have fallen blunt
no one is listening ‘Doryphore’
