Doubled Up In Holland

I went to sleep on Friday Night
Then re-awoke the day before
Which meant a replay of those hours
A double time of two days more

I thought I had the upper hand
In these hours yet uncompleted
That I might do things differently
But my free will had depleted

Throughout those days repeated
I could predict each new event
To me they were not new at all
But set in stone like hard cement

Second thoughts I might have altered
In trying to change the replay game
But there are rules when you revisit days
They must in truth end up the same
